PSD-2 API EMERGENCY MODE

If Akcenta PSD-2 APIs become temporarily unavailable for technical reasons, Akcenta publishes the information on its web pages and launches an „Emergency mode“. In the emergency mode, TPPs and clients proceed as follows:

TPP REGISTRATION

TPP contacts Akcenta by email at PSD2.openbanking@akcenta.eu or by telephone at +420 498 777 770 and requests an API access.

Akcenta informs TPP about a manual registration procedure and schedules a meeting between a TPP statutory representative and Akcenta sales representative. TPP statutory provides relevant information to the Akcenta sales representative, including:

  • Company documentation,
  • Information about PSD-2 licence,
  • Application / services planned to be provided,
  • Clients‘ agreement and consent for services to be provided.

Akcenta validates the TPP licence and processes the registration.

TPP REQUEST FOR SERVICE

A TPP authorized person contacts Akcenta by telephone at +420 498 777 770 and requests a service (account information, account balance or payment order).

Akcenta checks the validity of the TPP license, checks the validity of client consents, and requests authorization of the request by an SMS code to a registered mobile phone of the TPP authorized person. After a succesful authorization, Akcenta processes the request manually.
